Throughout the year, committed community
volunteers, business and property owners and private citizens
can be seen hanging
holiday bows on lamp posts, decorating community parks,
participating in business and property development workshops
and sharing
their visions for downtown in work planning and downtown
task force sessions; all with the goal of enhancing the
quality
of
life in Greater
Downtown Savannah.
More
than 160 business leaders, property owners, interested citizens
and community partners participate in SDRA’s
standing committees. Community input is key to shaping
and sustaining programs to enhance and revitalize Savannah’s
historic commercial corridors.
